Hiding things

Cookie banners are hidden for you. Kovo recognises the common consent tools, like OneTrust, Cookiebot, Didomi, Usercentrics and many more, and a site's own banners, in many languages. It hides them without accepting or refusing anything, and lets the page scroll again if a banner locked it.

To hide anything else, like a chat bubble, a pop-up or a sticky bar, hold Alt+Shift (Option+Shift on a Mac) and move over the site. Whatever is under the pointer gets a red outline; scroll up to pick the box it sits in instead, and down to go back. Click to hide it.

What you hide stays hidden on every page of the video, from the first frame, in the studio and in the export.

While anything is hidden, the URL field says how many, like 2 hidden. Click it to show everything again, or press Ctrl+Z to undo the last thing you hid.

To use the site itself, hold Alt (Option): open a menu, accept a banner, type in a field. Without Alt, Kovo takes every click and scroll, and the site never sees them.
