Moves and curves

How fast the video moves is its pace. Open the video's own pin at the top of the marker column and click the pace to step through Calm, Normal and Brisk. Or type the length you want, from 1 second to 10 minutes, and Kovo sets the pace to fit.

Longer moves take longer, but not in proportion: a move over four screens takes about twice as long as a move over one, so long pages don't drag and short hops don't snap.

A marker can be faster or slower than the rest. Its Speed runs from 0.25× to 4×: at 0.5×, the move into it takes twice as long.

The curve shapes each move: how it eases out of one marker and into the next. The video has one curve for every move, and any marker can have its own. Kovo comes with six: a smooth ease-in-out (the one it starts with), a sharper one, a gentler one, a fast start that eases out, a slow start that speeds up, and linear.

To make your own, click + in the curve row and drag the two handles; the check keeps it. Or paste one: a CSS cubic-bezier(), a CSS keyword like ease-in-out, a GSAP ease like power2.out or expo.inOut, an easings.net name like easeInOutCubic, or four numbers the way Framer Motion writes them. A curve can overshoot, for a move that runs past a marker and settles back.

Your curves are kept in one row, for every video. Hold a curve to drag it along the row, or drag it out of the row to remove it.

Made a pace you like? Click + next to it to keep it as Mine, beside Calm, Normal and Brisk.
