Sizes and scale
W and H set the size the site is shown at, from 320 × 240 up to 7680 × 4320. Type a size, or drag an edge or a corner of the canvas: it snaps to the named sizes as it comes close, and to the sizes you use most.
The named sizes: Full HD 1920 × 1080, MacBook 1470 × 956, Dribbble 1600 × 1200, Square 1080 × 1080, Instagram post 1080 × 1350, Story · Reels · TikTok 360 × 640, iPad 834 × 1210, Pixel 412 × 923 and iPhone 402 × 874.
Narrow sizes open the site as a phone, and tall sizes up to 1024 wide as a tablet, with touch, so the video shows the site's mobile layout. Wider sizes open it as a desktop.
Scale sets how sharp the video is. Desktop sizes export at 1x or 2x; phone and tablet sizes at 1x, 2x or 3x, and 3x to start. Full HD at 2x makes a 4K video, 3840 × 2160, and a Story at 3x makes a 1080 × 1920 vertical video for Reels and TikTok. The export box shows the size you'll get.
Every video is 60 frames a second. A minute of Full HD comes to about 100 MB at most, and 4K about four times that. Very large sizes need a capable graphics card; if the computer can't manage a size, Kovo says so.
Click the export key while it counts to cancel. A cancelled or failed export never touches a file you chose to replace.
